IIUM KICT POSTGRADUATE COLLOQUIUM 2019

We are excited to announce that TriveAcademy and the Trivechain community were invited to the IIUM KICT POSTGRADUATE COLLOQUIUM on December 5, 2019. This prestigious event at the International Islamic University Malaysia provided an excellent platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration in the blockchain space.

Blockchain Knowledge Sharing Session

Mr. Tan Ji Sheng, the lead developer of Trivechain, conducted an engaging sharing session at the colloquium. The session focused on educating students and attendees about:

  • Fundamentals of blockchain technology
  • Real-world applications of blockchain
  • Overview of Trivechain's ecosystem
  • TriveAcademy's educational initiatives

The session was well-received, with students showing great interest in how blockchain technology can be integrated into various industries and academic research.

Islamic Perspective on Blockchain Technology

One of the most fascinating aspects of the colloquium was seeing the postgraduate students' projects that explored blockchain implementation from an Islamic perspective. These innovative approaches demonstrated how blockchain and decentralization technology could align with Islamic principles and values.

Some of the interesting topics covered included:

  • Blockchain for Islamic finance and banking
  • Smart contracts compliant with Shariah law
  • Decentralized solutions for Zakat and charitable giving
  • Transparent supply chains for Halal products

Future Collaborations

The event opened doors for potential collaborations between Trivechain, TriveAcademy, and IIUM. We are looking forward to working together on research projects, educational programs, and technology implementations that can benefit the blockchain industry while respecting cultural and religious values.

We believe that such academic partnerships are crucial for the advancement of blockchain technology and its adoption across different communities and industries.
